Our Purpose

What we do

Teamwork Trust is an inclusive community where people feel valued, fulfilled, and supported to grow. Everything we do is co-produced with the wonderful diverse individuals who join us. Our programme timetables are shaped by their voices, goals, and interests.

Skills for Independence

Our focus is on life skills, community participation, work experience and building pathways to greater independence. Sessions cover practical skills such as cooking, money management, digital literacy, and everyday wellbeing. Each person is supported to make progress that is meaningful to them.

Learning and Education

With qualified teachers at all three of our sites, we provide structured learning opportunities that go beyond traditional settings. Subjects include literacy, numeracy, horticulture, local history and community knowledge – helping individuals to stay engaged, while growing confidence and having fun through learning.

Health and Wellbeing

We know that wellbeing and positive mental health is beneficial for all. That’s why we run sessions that nurture both physical and mental health, from fitness activities to mindfulness and creative expression. We place great importance on our staff wellbeing too and invest in our teams’ growth and personal development.

Enterprise and Work Skills

Our Social Enterprise programme, supported by the National Lottery, gives people the chance to explore vocational skills and engaging projects. Each enterprise is shaped by our service users and what they have asked for based upon their interests and goals, while being supported by a dedicated job coach. These projects provide value to our community partners while also building confidence, developing work skills and growing income for future opportunities.

We create environments that celebrate every ability, champion skills development, and open doors to growth.
