My Enterprise at Teamwork Trust
At Teamwork Trust, our My Enterprise programme is central to delivering our 2024–2027 Strategy. It offers meaningful, real-world enterprise experiences for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges. By embedding co-production, progression, and wellbeing, participants are supported to grow in confidence, develop new skills, and build independence in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Skills, Community and Sustainability
Members are actively involved in shaping, designing, producing, and delivering a wide range of products and services. This hands-on approach develops practical abilities such as time management, communication, and teamwork, while also encouraging creativity and problem-solving—skills that foster independence and open up new opportunities.
Enterprise activity also strengthens community connections. By taking part in markets, events, open days, and partnerships with local businesses, members gain visibility and recognition as active contributors to society. These experiences challenge stereotypes, reduce stigma, and promote inclusion.
Environmental sustainability is another key focus. Many of our products are made from recycled or upcycled materials, and we continually explore new eco-friendly methods. Whether handcrafted gifts, household items, or services, every product reflects care for both people and the planet.
