Partnerships that Create Opportunities

Every partnership helps us create opportunities for autistic adults and people with learning disabilities to learn, work and thrive. These case studies show the positive impact of collaboration – for our service users, our partners, and the wider community.

A New Social Enterprise with Satcol

Teamwork Trust and Satcol have co-created a social enterprise turning recycled denim into handmade aprons.

  • How it works: Satcol provides denim; our service users cut, sew and finish aprons with support from enterprise coaches; Satcol sells them in their shops; profits are shared and reinvested.
  • Impact: Service users gain skills and confidence; Satcol demonstrates sustainability with social value; the community benefits from ethical products and reduced waste.

“Satcol celebrates Teamwork Social Enterprises. It’s this kind of partnership that’s special to us!” – David Hannah, Satcol

  • Donated a laser cutter, opening new creative and commercial opportunities.
  • Embedded as a trusted supply chain partner, helping us grow and innovate.

This partnership proves that collaboration between charities and businesses can deliver impact far beyond commercial value.
