Empowering Young Adults to Thrive

One of the things that sets Teamwork Trust apart is our commitment to supporting local young adults as they prepare for adulthood. Our Transitions programme is led by a former senior SEN teacher and behaviour specialist, and works in partnership with local schools to provide meaningful experiences that build confidence, independence, and real-world skills.

With a unique and varied offer designed for adults of all ages, Teamwork Trust offers more than just another day centre — we offer a supportive, skills-focused route into adulthood.

Work Experience and School Partnerships

We work with sixth forms and SEND departments across the region, welcoming students on local pathway programmes into a variety of enterprise and work-based activities. Sessions are led by experienced staff who understand how to meet both school learning outcomes and individual EHCP goals.

As a prominent local charity, we’re proud to offer opportunities that benefit the wider community. By engaging with multiple schools, we help to enrich education provision and give young people the chance to explore new environments, develop skills, and grow in confidence outside of the classroom.

Supporting a Smooth Transition

Our offer goes far beyond traditional work experience. We work closely with schools and colleges to deliver tailored transition support for young people who may go on to attend Teamwork Trust. This includes taster days, school holiday transition sessions, strength-based assessments, EHCP continuity and SkillsBuilder integration.

Our aim is to ensure knowledge and support are smoothly transferred, so that every young person feels supported and ready for their next steps.

Teamwork Trust is not a final destination for school leavers – we are here to support the next stage of the journey. Through a stimulating and aspirational curriculum, we help young adults continue developing skills and move forward with purpose.
